Implementing condition based maintenance at a facility is planted in the field of good intentions.  Many organizations fail to harvest the benefits of CBM because they did not build a sustainable program.  The program champion, or key person may leave the organization or reassigned a special project, perhaps it a perfect storm of operational challenges and the program stumbles. In today’s presentation, we will explore the people, processes and technology with Thermography in a condition based maintenance program.

Michael Watson is a Product Application Specialist for Fluke Accelix, a suite of solutions from Fluke Corporation, focusing on the company’s technician tools and condition monitoring product lines.  Michael brings 25+ years’ experience in technician effectiveness, product service engineering and operations in US and global locations. He is a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) and Thermal/Infrared Thermography Level 1 certified.  Michael holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana Illinois.
