Biography
Hector Palacio is a Predictive Maintenance Engineer with 15 years of experience in major industries, including power generation, oil & gas, and industrial processes. He specializes in vibration analysis, holding a Category IV certification from Mobius Institute. His expertise includes online monitoring project management, machinery diagnostics, predictive maintenance program implementation, and condition monitoring training.
He has worked with major brands such as Emerson CSI, Rockwell Automation, Bently Nevada, Prognost, Shinkawa, and Bachmann.
Additionally, he has R&D experience in wind power projects, focusing on:
- Wind turbine failure mode evaluation
- Detection strategy design
- Machine learning applications for predictive maintenance
- Testing and validation of predictive models
