ASSET RELIABILITY PRACTITIONER (ARP) CATEGORY I WORKSHOP
So what is the Asset Reliability Practitioner Workshop about? Here we give you a quick overview of this Three day workshop hosted by Mobius Institute CEO Jason Tranter.

Over the course of three days, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Jason helps you to gain a solid understanding of reliability improvement and condition-based maintenance.
Jason Tranter is the Founder and CEO of Mobius Institute. Jason is the author of most of the Mobius Institute training courses and e-learning products covering reliability improvement, condition monitoring and precision maintenance topics. Vibration analysis classroom and distance learning courses follow ISO 18436-2 Category I – IV. Mr. Tranter has been involved with this field of work since 1984. He has worked with people in a variety of industries to help improve reliability and implement successful condition monitoring programs. He is an Australian delegate to ISO TC 108/SC5 “Condition monitoring and diagnostics of machine systems”. Jason has written numerous articles and presented at conferences around the world. Mobius Institute has training centers in over 60 countries and provides certification through the ISO/IEC 17024 accredited organization, Mobius Institute Board of Certification.
After this workshop, you will understand why you should improve reliability, what is involved in implementing a program, and what all the roadblocks will be. You will have a clear understanding of the strategies, philosophies, and terminology associated with the very important process of improving reliability and performance. The course is perfect for managers, engineers, maintenance & operations managers, and condition monitoring leaders.
This three-day workshop will offer you the big picture overview and the benefits of reliability improvement. Learn how to assess the benefits for your organization and how to develop a reliability culture within your team. When complete the three–day workshop you will be eligible to take the two-hour, 60-question, multiple-choice ARP-CAT I exam on Wednesday September 11, 2019 at 1:00 PM. The cost of the exam is $275 per student and includes all testing materials needed.
Only coming for a few days to the CBM Conference USA but still interested in the ARP workshops? Feel free to sit in on a day or two, and still have the option to take the exam at the conference or online. It’s your choice. So, what is covered in the Three-day ARP workshop? Day One focuses on leadership, culture change, program justification, and implementation. Day Two focuses on defect elimination, reliability engineering, CM, and maintenance. Day Three is shorter and comprises of a review session and an interactive quiz & discussion. At the end of Day Three, you can take the optional exam for the cost of $275 per student.
